child care setting is my family home. My family home offers a safe, emotionally nurturing and yet challenging environment.
I am a fun, loving, sensitive person yet can still be consistent and firm
with the children when needed.
I am excited
and enthusiastic to be offering childcare. As a newer childcare provider I feel that this a positive thing.
I am eager to learn new things about childcare and will continue to strive to offer the best care and programing I can.
The entire family home has been child safety proofed (child safety outlet
covers, child safety latches on cupboards, dangerous items are all out of reach, large furniture is fastened to the walls.
I have an open door policy (to parents only) that allows a parent to drop-in
and check out how there child is doing.
Reasonable
access to the entire home is granted to the children. This allows the children freedom to explore, learn and interact
with there environment.
I offer a year
round schedule with the only exception being 2 weeks vacation once per year and sick days.
I offer a flexible schedule that provides children the opportunity to "learn in the
moment" and "learn through play".
Some activities offered in the schedule include: puzzles, building blocks, sorting, dramatic play, arts, crafts,
music, singing, story time, free play, outdoor play, nap time.
I have a large selection of toys and equipment that will continue to grow.
Fully fenced back yard and many opportunities for play at nearby parks.
